Our History

Established in 1967, Tasker & Lacy started as a general car repairer, but by 1982 was established as an independent Jaguar specialist. This was before the likes of the E-type and XK120 became recognised and valuable classics, which gathered pace towards the end of that decade. Whilst we continue to work on such classics, we repair and service the most modern Jaguars and Land Rovers, specialising in the jobs that many people fear. This can range from a broken timing chain, AdBlue faults and DPF issues to replacing an Ingenium engine with a brand-new unit from JLR.

Over the last 17 years, Jonathan (left) and Richard (right) have kept up to date with the equipment required to work on Jaguars, and more recently, Land Rovers. We have up-to-date diagnostic software from JLR's 'Topix Cloud' system and provide all the main dealer-level updates for your Jaguar / Land Rover. Whether you have the dreaded engine management light permanently lit on your dashboard, an AdBlue refill message or a service due displayed, we have the diagnostic equipment and more importantly, the expertise to deal with these dilemmas.

Here at Tasker & Lacy we are more than a garage to service and repair your Jaguar or Land Rover, we have a passion for these cars and use them as their daily transport, so we can appreciate what it takes to look after them.
